Job Description:
* Client is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our team.
* This individual will work as part of a multidisciplined design engineering team during the development phases of an emerging program.
* The individual will be responsible for developing new analog designs and the transition of those designs into military qualified hardware.
* The individual should be familiar with Mixed Signal electronics design, switching power supply design, ordnance initiation and high density PWAs.
* The individual should be familiar with using OrCAD Capture, PSPICE or LTSpice and other simulation products.
* Our Design Engineering team is focused on developing and improving new product designs to support advanced emerging programs for military customers.
Responsibilities:
* Designing and developing mixed signal electronic designs
* Developing schematics in standard design tools
* Analyzing circuit designs
* Working in a collaborative and cross-functional discipline environment
Qualifications:
* 5+ years of relevant experience in Mixed Signal electronics design.
* Bachelors of Science degree in electrical engineering required; MS degree a plus.
* Power Supply design experience.
* Experience with designing High density printed circuit boards.
* Knowledgeable with Allegro CIS Schematic Capture and PSPICE.
* Performed simulation & analysis of various circuits under worst case situations (i.e. Worst Case Circuit Analysis).
* Familiarity with parts derating guidelines and uses.
* Capable of basic modification of component models.
* Capable of developing simulations with LTSPICE.
* Familiarity with various lab instrumentation, testing, and debugging.
* Familiarity supporting PCB and PWA layout.
* Familiarity with digital design and standard data buses.
* Active security clearance.
