Job Description:
We are seeking a strategic and client-focused Account Manager to lead our engagement with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), with a specific focus on cybersecurity and IT services. This role is responsible for developing trusted relationships with key stakeholders across DHS components (including CISA, CBP, ICE, TSA, and USCIS), managing current contracts, and expanding our footprint through targeted growth opportunities in cybersecurity modernization, IT infrastructure, and mission-critical technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary account lead for DHS cyber and IT service initiatives.
Build and maintain strong relationships with DHS stakeholders, including technical, contracting, and executive personnel.
Manage the full account lifecycle — from opportunity identification and capture to proposal development, contract execution, and delivery oversight.
Monitor trends in DHS cybersecurity and IT procurement, including major initiatives like Zero Trust, cloud migration, endpoint detection, SOC support, and identity management.
Lead or support capture and proposal teams for DHS opportunities (GWACs, IDIQs, BPAs).
Collaborate with internal technical and delivery teams to ensure successful execution of current DHS contracts.
Identify and mitigate risks, resolve customer issues, and drive continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
Represent the company at DHS industry events, conferences, and vendor outreach sessions.
Maintain pipeline and forecast for DHS account growth.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
5–8 years of experience managing federal government accounts, with at least 3 years supporting DHS customers.
Demonstrated success in managing or winning DHS IT/cyber contracts valued at $10M+.
In-depth knowledge of DHS components such as CISA, CBP, ICE, or USCIS, and their cyber/IT priorities.
Understanding of NIST standards, FedRAMP, Zero Trust architecture, and cloud security frameworks.
Experience managing IDIQ/BPA contracts and task order proposal submissions.
Active Secret clearance or higher
Preferred Qualifications:
PMP, CISSP, or similar certifications.
