Systems Engineer-Radar

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Secret Cleared Systems Engineer to support the US Space Force, Space Systems Command, in performing operational maintenance and sustainment of ground-based radars critical to US and Allied strategic missile surveillance, warning, defense, and space surveillance missions. This individual will be responsible for responsive and coherent planning, development, and delivery of PARCS and UEWR radar hardware and software modifications in response to change requests and deficiency reports. This position is located on-site in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Responsibilities for Systems Engineer:

• Ensures the systematic conversion of product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
• Develops requirements and standardizes BOE, SRR, PDR processes.
• Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software or engineering specifications.
• Provides specific, detailed information for selection, implementation techniques, and tools for the most efficient solution to meet business needs.

Qualifications for Systems Engineer:

• Bachelor's Degree with 9+ years of related experience.
• Active Secret Clearance.
• Must have extensive experience sustaining ground-based radar systems (GBRs), or other Strategic Warning and Surveillance radar systems UEWR or PAVE PAWS.
• Experience in systems engineering, Model-based Systems Engineering, and related areas, to include managing teams/projects delivering solutions for missile warning or other national security space mission systems.
• Proficiency using DOORs, Jira, and Confluence.

Compensation for Systems Engineer:

· Pay Range: $130,000 - $160,000 (based on years of experience and education)
