Summary

Chenega Naswik International is seeking a Locksmith to support NAVSEA HQ.

Responsibilities

  • Provide maintenance, installation, repair, and troubleshooting of locks and keys
  • Support SEA 00P1 with the management of key, lock, and container work which includes but not limited to, planning and scheduling work, report preparation, establishing and maintaining records, and quality control.
  • Perform on site, all key cuttings and duplications, which include but are not limited to high licensed security keys, requested by SEA 00P1
  • Inspect and maintain an inventory record of all keys, cores, and sets issued to customers and maintained in reserve. The inventory and accountability shall be maintained and verified every six (6) months.
  • Support SEA 00P1, command's events at night or after-hours requiring locksmith support after normal duty hours. These events will be prescheduled through SEA 00P1 and will include a specific date and duration.
  • Develop and manage a tracking system for parts on hand and to better track status on orders for parts being shipped.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Active DoD Secret clearance.
  • Up to date GSA Certified Safe and Vault Technician with current GSA Approved Inspector accreditation/certification
  • Lenel certification required.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years related experience in Locksmith programs.
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Familiarity with NAVSEA Enterprise ASM Program.
  • Prior experience supporting DCSA.

  • Be able to maintain composure under stressful situations.
