POSITION SUMMARY

Aleut is seeking experienced professionals to support multiple staff positions within Mission Delta 3 and Space Operations Command (SpOC) in Colorado Springs, CO. These critical roles provide high-level support to U.S. Space Force missions, requiring technical expertise and staff-level operational experience. Personnel will provide subject matter expertise across planning, operations, and strategy; support operational readiness and capability development; collaborate with leadership at Mission Delta 3 and SpOC, and engage in high-impact work supporting U.S. Space Force missions.

The focus of this position is to provide technical expertise supporting all aspects of Program Protection-related efforts supporting Space Superiority programs. Works with Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) supporting Space Superiority weapon systems and S35 Weapon System Leads.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Develop, review, comply with, and manage the Security Classification Guides (SCGs), Anti-Tamper Plan, Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) Plan, Counter-Intelligence Plan, and other applicable documents relating to the SAP mission area and Programs of Record.
  • Serve as a technical advisor, consultant, and primary point of contact to the government Program Protection Program Manager (PM), providing training and oversight for Program Protection-related activities.
  • Collaborate with Mission Delta and SpOC Space Superiority staff for Program Protection and training indoctrinations for Guardians participating in SpOC-level (FLASHPOINT) and Delta-level (BLACK SKIES) exercises.
  • Proactively engage with AFOSI, PSOs and Mission Deltas on SCGs prior to system prototyping and operation deployment.
  • Support SAP program integration/remove of capabilities from the Integrated Space Portfolio.
  • Contribute to applicable General Program Requirements, Overarching Requirements, Portfolio Management Program Protection Planning, and Program Office Support.

EDUCATION/TRAINING
  • Minimum: High School Diploma
  • Preferred: Bachelor's Degree

EXPERIENCE
  • Seven years of experience working with USSF/USAF SAP Program Protection policies and processes, including security documentation (e.g. Program Protection Plans and Security Classification Guides).
  • Advising/supporting acquisition/integration of future electromagnetic and/or orbital warfare weapon systems, either upgrades or next-generation capabilities.
  • Working with any military HQ Staff, who operate in support of current and future EW/OW mission areas.
  • Knowledge of SpOC space superiority units/missions/weapon systems.
  • Knowledge of SCG and Mission Protection requirements.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • This is an onsite position that requires work to be performed onsite in Colorado Springs, CO.
  • Indoor office working conditions.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • Must be able to sit or stand for prolonged periods.
  • Must be able to perform repetitive keyboard tasks and associated motions for prolonged periods.
  • Must be able to carry up to 10 pounds.

SALARY RANGE
  • $129,000.00 -- $149,000.00 (annual) depending on qualifications
