We are looking for a Journeyman Network and Computer Systems Administrator to join a team of network engineers and technicians supporting our customer, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) under the Revolutionary Information Technology Services (RITS) contract.

What will you be doing?
Supporting the USACE as a member of the enterprise network operations team, focused on operational excellence by conducting planned and coordinated network maintenance, break/fix actions, service level agreements (SLAs) performance, incident resolution, ticket queue management, customer service actions, and other enterprise network operations activities in the USACE OCIO/G-6 environment, IAW DoD, Army, and USACE O-CIO G6 policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
* Manage and maintain currently supported and subsequent Microsoft (MS) Windows Server Operating Systems (OS) on physical and virtual operating environments.
* Assist in storage and data management, specifically file and folder permissions.
* Support operational transition of enterprise solutions into production.
* Provide support for Active Directory (AD) accounts and groups, network storage, servers, and Exchange accounts.
* Primary escalation POC for local servers, storage, network, and telecom outages, projects, and Enterprise Operations issues.
* Follow documented processes and procedures and monitor ticketing system, district and divisional incidents and requests, and address local Service Delivery requirements.
* Work closely with other support personnel to provide top-tier support to on-site and remote personnel.
* Other duties as assigned/required.
Requirements:
* Secret Clearance required prior to start.
* Bachelors degree or 4 additional years of experience can be substituted for degree
* 2+ years of professional, applicable experience.
* Current DoD 8570 IA Baseline Certification, IAT Level I - CompTIA Security+ certification.
* Must obtain appropriate DoD 8570 IA Computing Environment Certification within 6 months of employment.
* Comprehension of NTFS file share permissions.
* Fundamental understanding of authentication mechanisms such as Kerberos and LDAP.
* Basic networking experience (TCP/IP, routing, SSH, OpenVPN)
* Experience using ServiceNow ticketing system or Remedy (ServiceNow preferred).
* Normal work hours are Monday through Friday; 8-hour shift between 6AM and 6PM local time. After hours support may be required on an infrequent basis.
* Strong analytical and follow through skills.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to present ideas in a business-friendly and user-friendly language.
* Ability to coordinate and get cooperation from multiple areas within IT to accomplish assignments.
* Ability to work well independently on defined tasks, as well as part of a team.
Preferred:
* Experience maintaining Xerox, Lexmark, HP, or Ricoh printer devices (i.e. installing maintenance kits)
* Experience supporting Office 365
* Prior USACE experience; Experience Working in DoD environment.
* Experience with enterprise WAN deployments.
