Job Description

As a Security Officer - Armed Defense Patrol in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more .

As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment at a leading aerospace and defense location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help discourage unauthorized activity, and responding promptly to any security-related concerns. You will interact with employees, visitors, and contractors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication at all times. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the location and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or access.
• Monitor for suspicious activity and report any irregularities according to site protocols.
• Assist with access control by verifying credentials and authorizations for entry to restricted areas.
• Support emergency response efforts as directed by site management and Allied Universal protocols.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and observations as required by site procedures.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency services when necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must possess a Level III Armed Certification for Texas.
• Must have an active Department of Defense Clearance.
• An Armed Guard Card or License is preferred.
• CPR Certification is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
