Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Model-Based Systems Engineer to drive innovation and optimization in model-based verification and validation processes. As a Model-Based Systems Engineer, on this team, you will lead the transformation of document-based systems to model-based approaches, develop advanced SysML models of tactical systems, and optimize model integrations with external platforms. This role will require expertise in MBSE methodologies and tools integration.

Full-Time Salary Range: $86460 - $146982
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Model-Based Systems Engineer to drive innovation and optimization in model-based verification and validation processes. As a Model-Based Systems Engineer, on this team, you will lead the transformation of document-based systems to model-based approaches, develop advanced SysML models of tactical systems, and optimize model integrations with external platforms. This role will require expertise in MBSE methodologies and tools integration.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Assess & Enhance MBSE Workflows : Evaluate existing MBSE processes, methodologies, and tool implementations, identifying areas for improvement, automation, and efficiency gains
- Architect Integrated MBSE Solutions: Design and implement scalable and efficient MBSE architectures, integrating modeling tools, simulation environments, and system verification frameworks to enhance engineering workflows
- Develop & Implement Migration Strategies: Lead the transition from legacy or proof-of-concept MBSE implementations to optimized, production-ready frameworks, ensuring seamless integration and alignment with engineering objectives
- Enhance Defect Detection & Model Accuracy: Implement model-based analysis methods to identify potential system issues early in development lifecycle, improving design robustness and reducing rework costs
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, with 4+ years of MBSE experience
- Proven expertise in MBSE methodologies, including SysML modeling, tool integrations, and verification & validation workflows
- Experience with Cameo Systems Modeler, Cameo Simulation Toolkit, Cameo Teamwork Cloud
- Strong and confident communication/presentation skills
- Experience in being part of a multidisciplinary project team
- Must be a US citizen and able to obtain a Secret level clearance
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience programming with: Java, Groovy, and working with APIs
- Deep understanding of DoD systems engineering practices
- Experience working on DoD programs
- Already holds active Secret level clearance
