Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Mid-Level UI/UX Designer to join our dynamic team. The Mid-Level UI/UX Designer will play a crucial role in designing and refining user-centric interfaces that enhance customer satisfaction and ensure the quality and consistency of our digital products.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct user research and analyze user feedback to inform design decisions.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into compelling user experiences.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for web and mobile applications.
- Develop and maintain design systems and style guides to ensure consistency across products.
- Conduct usability testing and iterate on designs based on test feedback.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest UI/UX design trends, techniques, and technologies.
- Present design concepts and rationale to team members and stakeholders, articulating the thought process and design decisions.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of design practices and workflows within the team.
- Balance aesthetics with functionality, prioritizing the needs and preferences of users.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements (Education/Skills/Experience):
- US citizen with an active Secret clearance or ability to obtain.
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 5 years of professional experience in UI/UX design.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of UX/UI design projects.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Experience in prototyping tools such as InVision, Marvel, or Axure.
- Understanding of responsive design and web/mobile design standards.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with various teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Expertise Levels:
- User Research: Intermediate
- Familiarity with user interviews, surveys, usability testing, and basic analytics.
- Wireframing & Prototyping: Intermediate to Advanced
- Comfortable creating detailed wireframes and interactive prototypes using preferred tools.
- Visual Design: Intermediate
- Ability to produce visually appealing designs aligned with brand guidelines.
- Interaction Design: Intermediate to Advanced
- Sound understanding of creating seamless and engaging interactions.
- Design Systems: Intermediate
- Experience developing and maintaining design systems for consistency across applications.
