We are seeking to a hire a Test engineer to support Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (UAS) in Huntsville, Alabama.
The Test Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring the evaluation, qualification, and operational readiness of advanced UAS technologies. This position requires strong expertise in test engineering principles, military aviation standards, and collaboration with external agencies to support comprehensive testing efforts.

Responsibilities
- Lead evaluation and qualification efforts for Uncrewed Aircraft Systems at both the system and component levels.
- Develop, execute, and analyze comprehensive test programs using proven methodologies and standards.
- Collaborate with external test agencies such as Redstone Test Center and Army Test and Evaluation Command.
- Plan and execute tests in compliance with Department of Defense testing requirements.
- Contribute to the development of Test and Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP) documents.
- Review and validate test plans, methodologies, and report documentation for accuracy and effectiveness.
- Serve as a liaison between internal ULC teams, PM UAS and PEO functionals, contractors, and Army airworthiness officials.
- Effectively communicate findings, analyses, and recommendations with clarity.
- Prepare and deliver detailed reports and briefings to senior management, outlining program status, issues, findings, and conclusions.
Required Experience:
- Bachelors degree with 5 years experience.
- Ability to plan and execute system-level and component-level test programs.
- Strong technical writing and documentation skills, particularly in TEMP development and reporting.
- Proficiency in communicating complex information to diverse stakeholders, including senior leadership.
- Previous experience collaborating with external test agencies (e.g., Redstone Test Center, Army Test and Evaluation Command) is highly preferred.
- Background in military aviation testing or similar fields.
- Must have an Active Secret Clearance; US citizenship required.
