MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Systems Engineer to join our team in Norfolk, VA. This is an onsite position.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Establishes system information requirements using analysis of the information engineer(s) in the development of enterprise-wide or large-scale information systems
- Designs architecture to include the software, hardware, and communications to support the total requirements as well as provide for present and future cross-functional requirements and interfaces
- Ensures these systems are compatible and in compliance with the standards for open systems architectures, the Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) and International Standards Organization (ISO) reference models, and profiles of standards - such as Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE) Open Systems Environment (OSE) reference model - as they apply to the implementation and specification of Information Management (IM) solution of the application platform, across the application program interface (API), and the external environment/software application
- Ensures that the common operating environment is TAFIM compliant
- Evaluates analytically and systemically problems with management/planning/organization/processes and develops appropriate corrective action
- Formulates and defines system scope and objectives for assigned projects
- Responsible for program design, coding, testing, debugging and documentation
- Has full technical knowledge of all phases of applications systems analysis and programming
- Ability to travel CONUS/OCONUS
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- 6+ years of relevant experience required
- Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint experience
Security Clearance:
- An active or current Secret Clearance is required to start on program.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
- Constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
- The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
