Responsibilities

PeopleTec is currently seeking a SATCOM Military Operations Analyst to support our Peterson SFB, CO location.

The candidate will provide SATCOM subject matter expertise support for activities required in the analysis of future International Partner requirements for the use of MILSATCOM and the impact these requirements have on US users.

Duties Include:
  • Provide SATCOM planning, analytical, technical support and services to the SpOC/IP Branch, and the Delta 8 WB and NB C-SSE.
  • Support tasks are required for integrating, implementing, and operationalizing future SATCOM system capabilities to meet future IP requirements.
  • Assist in MUOS operational support that includes local terminal provisioning and satellite access tool, spectrum planning and management, key management, SATCOM service management, crypto user key distribution, Canadian interface reporting, resource allocation for operations, sustainment activities, service maintenance and user support.
  • Provide international agreement development support requirements, international agreement development includes coordination with U.S. organizations to assist in negotiations with potential Foreign Partners


Qualifications

Required Skills/Experience :
  • 10-12 years of Department of Defense (DoD) SATCOM experience
  • Knowledge of MUOS and Narrow Band systems is necessary
  • Experience with various International Agreement types (Joint Production, Cooperative exchange agreements, Equivalent Value Exchange agreements, Foreign Military Sales
  • Travel: 25 %
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • An active DoD TOP Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have an active TOP Secret clearance upon hire, and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment.

Education Requirements :
  • Bachelors of Science Degree or relevant experience

Desired Skills :
  • Knowledge of SATCOM International Agreements for the NATO SATCOM Services 6th Generation (NSS6G) MOU
  • Knowledge of Mobile User Objective System (MUOS) with any potential IPs, including Canada; Canada's Polar program; Protected Anti-Jam Tactical SATCOM system efforts
  • Knowledge of Norway-US Arctic X-Band support, WGS-11/12 International Partnerships, and follow-on system efforts for WB, NB, and Protected Band (PB).
  • Significant military familiarity and training in SATCOM
  • Ability to demonstrate proficiency in SATCOM principles, technical analysis, and problem solving.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project)

In compliance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role is ~$100,000 - $135,000; however, PeopleTec considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and critical skills.
