We are looking for you to join our team as a Manager of Manufacturing Engineering, Level 2, responsible for leading a Manufacturing Engineering Test team supporting our Radio Frequency (RF) Electronic Warfare systems based out of Rolling Meadows, Illinois.
This RF Manufacturing Engineering Test team is comprised of Electrical, Computer, and Software Engineers who are responsible for all aspects of Manufacturing Test. From proposal preparation to capacity monitoring/forecasting, test equipment and software design/development, environmental screening planning and implementation, troubleshooting of complex assemblies, and continuous improvement to reduce product cost and cycle time, the Manager is responsible for seamless coordination and collaboration with other NGC organizations to ensure Northrop Grumman's continued success in meeting and exceeding customer expectations.

Salary Range: $149,400.00 - $224,000.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.

- Working with programs, analysts, and business managers to understand the business forecast. Translating that into a staffing plan and ensuring staffing is optimal to meet program and business needs.

Basic Qualifications for the Manager Electronics Engineering 2:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Science, or related technical field with a minimum of 8 years of experience, master's degree, and 6 years of relevant experience
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant, direct experience with people or project leadership in manufacturing/production, operations, engineering, program management, testing, or related areas.
- Experience in leading teams to collaborate across multiple disciplines (Design, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Program).
- Experience with industry and management methodologies with a focus on continuous improvement in manufacturing, such as ISO 9000, Total Quality Management, or Six Sigma
- Experience with financial management, including project & process control, budgets, Earned Value, and Project Management
- Experience developing strategic roadmaps and investment priorities
- Experience with program/product lifecycle in the areas of new business pursuit, design, supply chain management, receiving operations, inventory control, production control, product test & evaluation, reliability, root cause analysis, product sell off, shipping, and product support as they apply to quality.
- US Citizenship is required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance is required.
Preferred Qualifications for the Manager Electronics Engineering 2:
- A master's degree in manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical, or Test Engineering
- Experience with ISO9001/AS9100
- Experience with Six Sigma tools (ex., Green Belt, Black Belt)
