GIS Tech Lead

Description:
We're looking for two seasoned GIS Technical Leads to join a long-term utility project supporting iGrid initiatives. Both roles require ESRI Utility Network experience but differ slightly in focus:

Role 1: GIS Tech Lead - Product-Facing

Strong technical background (Python/JavaScript, ESRI stack)

Experienced working with cross-functional teams

No FME required

Strong in business/product interactions

Role 2: GIS Tech Lead - Data-Focused

Strong GIS data engineering expertise

FME experience required

Heavy focus on data pipelines, manipulation, and transformation

Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $80 - $90 / hr. w2

Responsibilities:
What You'll Do:

Bridge development teams and PMs

Interface between IT and business units

Coordinate cross-functional teams

Ensure smooth service delivery and deployments

Evaluate and manage technical change impacts

Experience Requirements:
Core Skills for Both:

5+ years GIS development

ESRI Utility Network (non-negotiable)

Experience with ArcGIS, ArcPro, ArcFM, Geo-processing tools

Proven leadership on technical project delivery

Utility industry experience a plus

Education Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree
