Seeking a Test & Evaluation Engineer supporting electrical system testing and lab design for both commercial and military derivative aircraft. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dedicated, customizable lab environment that supports projects from early-stage technology development to resolving complex, in-service issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and verify test methods and procedures.
- Define instrumentation and configurations to minimize risk and meet test plan constraints.
- Design test hardware, software, and systems to meet requirements.
- Troubleshoot electrical systems and interpret electrical diagrams.
- Analyze and format test data to meet customer specifications.
- Review and validate test data for accuracy and quality.
- Prepare and publish test reports; present findings internally.
- Archive test data and documentation.
- Train and mentor team members.
- Contribute to the long-term vision and development of the electrical systems lab.
Required Qualifications:
- Ability to obtain U.S. Government Security clearance (Requires US Citizenship)
- 1+ years of experience with electrical and electronic technologies.
- 1+ years of experience using computer-aided design and simulation tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Active Secret Clearance
- Experience with wire design and electrical design tools (e.g., WCAD, Zuken E3).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience coordinating testing requirements and schedules with customers.
- Familiarity with mechanical systems.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience, or
- Master's degree with 3+ years of experience, or
- PhD with relevant experience in an engineering classification.
ABET accreditation is preferred but not required.
