Classification Description
Verifies and posts status information promptly when informed by production superintendents, expediters and maintenance personnel. Coordinates maintenance schedules, actions, and priority changes. Familiar with support organizations' operations and capabilities. Monitors and coordinates sortie production, maintenance production, and execution of the flying and maintenance schedules while maintaining visibility of fleet health indicators. Coordinates and communicates priorities for completing limited resources [e.g. fuel or calibration docks, wash racks, and dispatched specialists from the maintenance squadron(s) (e.g. Egress)] based on daily flying schedule and maintenance priorities. Develops, implements, and maintains functional checklists. Builds, maintains and updates required reports, presentations and spreadsheets ensuring accuracy. Attends maintenance and scheduling meetings. Required to perform assigned tasks within your work center that directly supports necessary functions of this job classification.
Specialty Qualifications
a. Knowledge. Knowledge of the principles applying to aircraft systems, concepts, and applications of maintenance directives and data reporting is mandatory. Knowledge of MIS (CAMS/IMDS) data and EMOC is mandatory. Knowledge of using technical data and Air Force supply and deficiency reporting procedures is mandatory. Knowledge of non-tactical radio programming and managing overall communications systems is mandatory. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is mandatory. Knowledge of the proper handling, use, and disposal of hazardous waste is mandatory.
b. Education. Completion of a basic aircraft maintenance course is mandatory.
c. Experience. Qualification as MOC Production Control Clerk is mandatory. A minimum of three years of experience performing functions, such as installing, inspecting, repairing, modifying, or overhauling aircraft, aircraft systems, and/or components on applicable type aircraft, is mandatory.
Special Certifications and Qualifications required for position
Must be able to travel in performance of these duties. SECRET CLEARANCE REQUIRED.
