Amentum has a future opportunity for a Senior Engineering Fellow to support a Counter-Unmanned Aircraft Systems program in Washington, DC.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Support the Technical Advisor for C-UAS Technology, Systems, and Applications in the evaluation of DoD portfolios.
  • Provide expertise in requirements analysis, concept development, science and technology, and research and development efforts for JCO C-UAS.
  • Participate in technical reviews and meetings between JCO, other Government organizations, and contractors.
  • Make technical recommendations to improve the capabilities and performance of weapon systems, sensor systems, command and control systems, and interoperability.
  • Provide SME technical support for meetings, briefings, and assessments directed by Army and DoD Senior Leaders.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Must have an Active Top Secret US Government Clearance with SCI eligibilty. Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain a Top Secret Clearance.
  • 12+ years of relevant experience with Bachelor's degree or 8+ years relevant experience with Masters degree.
  • Advanced degree in engineering, science, or a related technical field is preferred.
  • Extensive experience (typically 15+ years) in systems engineering, advanced technology development, and concept development related to Counter-Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-UAS).
  • Proven track record of evaluating and supporting the entire DoD portfolio related to C-UAS across the Joint Force.
  • Experience in requirements analysis, concept development, science and technology research, and development.
  • Subject Matter Expertise (SME) in Systems Engineering, Advanced Technology and Concept Development, Architecture Design, System Design, System Integration, Interoperability, Modeling and Simulation, Requirements Analysis, and System Effectiveness & Analysis.
  • Deep understanding and experience with sensor systems, weapon systems, command and control systems, and system/subsystem integration and interoperability.


Compensation:
The annual starting salary for this position is between $150k - $200k annually. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
