Corporate Communications Specialist, Mid
Key Role:
Help the client in all aspects of communications. Leverage corporate communications expertise for organizational leaders, employees, and stakeholders for an intelligence community agency at the unclassified and classified levels. Generate briefings, talking points and key messages for leadership. Assist with the writing of articles, development of newsletters, and crafting and publishing messages for the workforce. Provide recommendations to the client and assist with the development of strategic communication plans. Coordinate closely with graphic designers, videographers, photographers and other SMEs to develop products for publication on different mediums. Maintain and update internal website content.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $55,200.00 to $126,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. Basic Qualifications:
- Experience writing in different formats for various audiences such as talking points, articles, scripts, and workforce messages
- Experience with assessing communication metrics and data to help senior leaders make decisions
- Experience with presenting verbal and written communications to a varying audience
- Experience with developing internal communication products, including newsletters and articles
- Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
- Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of experience in a strategic communications or corporate communications role or 8+ years of experience in a strategic communications or corporate communications role in lieu of a degree
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience with working in the intelligence community or DoD
- Knowledge of and experience using AP Style
