We are seeking a Microsoft Power Platform Subject Matter Expert (SME) to lead the development, maintenance, and optimization of low-code/no-code business solutions using Microsoft Power Platform tools. The Microsoft Power Platform SME will serve as a technical authority for Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Pages, Dataverse, and related integrations. This role includes architecting scalable solutions, enforcing governance best practices, and supporting DevOps pipelines using the Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE) toolkit and CI/CD strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain custom applications using Power Apps.
  • Build and manage automated workflows using Power Automate to streamline business processes.
  • Create and maintain public- or internal-facing websites using Power Pages, integrating Dataverse and other services.
  • Design and manage custom data structures, relationships, and permissions in Dataverse.
  • Integrate Power Platform solutions with external data sources, including SharePoint, Azure SQL, and other connectors.
  • Develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards, ensuring seamless integration with Power Apps and Power Pages.
  • Package and manage Power Platform components using Solutions for coherent deployment and lifecycle management.
  • Implement governance strategies using Power Platform CoE Toolkit, enforcing environment policies, DLP rules, and usage analytics.
  • Configure and support CI/CD pipelines to deploy Power Platform solutions across environments.
  • Provide expert-level guidance, documentation, and knowledge sharing to project teams and end users.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience working with Microsoft Power Platform in a development or administration capacity.
  • 3+ years of experience maintaining and supporting Power Platform applications, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power Pages.
    • Experience with managing data in Dataverse and integrating Power Platform with external data sources such as SharePoint or Azure SQL.
    • Experience in creating and managing Power BI reports integrated into Power Platform applications.
  • Public Trust required with the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Deep understanding of Power Platform architecture, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, Dataverse, and Power BI.
  • Proficiency in building and maintaining scalable, secure low-code/no-code applications and workflows.
  • Experience administering Power Platform environments, including environment configuration, permission management, and solution packaging.
  • Familiarity with integrating Power Platform solutions with external systems such as SharePoint, Azure SQL, and REST APIs.
  • Knowledge of Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) and experience with CI/CD pipelines for Power Platform using Azure DevOps.
  • Experience using the Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE) Toolkit to support governance, analytics, and platform health monitoring.
  • Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into effective Power Platform solutions.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical solutions to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Adaptable, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
