Are you passionate about 3D modeling and eager to make a significant impact on the design and development of U.S. ships? We are looking for a talented and experienced 3D Modeling Specialist to join our dynamic team near Ocean Springs, with the possibility of some remote work. If you have a knack for creating and updating intricate 3D models and thrive in a collaborative environment, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

Key Responsibilities:

Create and update 3D models of U.S. ships, ensuring accuracy and precision.

Utilize Autodesk Inventor Professional or equivalent software (Solidworks, Catia, Pro-E, NX, Solidedge) to perform parametric modeling.

Develop 3D CAD models for various ship components, including hulls, masts, structures, and weapon systems.

Import native CAD models into a CAD platform to reverse engineer and recreate modifiable 3D solid models.

Create, modify, and maintain 2D drawings in compliance with DoD, ASME, ANSI, and other Military standards.

Manage product data using Autodesk Vault Professional or equivalent product data management software.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of 3D models into the overall project.

Requirements:

At least three (3) years of demonstrated expertise in parametric modeling using Autodesk Inventor Professional, or equivalent software.

Experience with Navisworks.

Proven experience in 3D CAD model development for ship design or related fields.

Strong background in creating, modifying, and maintaining 2D drawings.

Minimum one (1) year of experience in product data management processes using Autodesk Vault Professional or equivalent software.

Expertise in file and folder permissions, version history, checkout/check-in, revision control, workflows, and product lifecycle states.

Preferred:

Familiarity with DoD, ASME, ANSI, and other Military standards.
