Description:The selected candidate will serve as the F-35 Production Program Office Configuration Readiness Change Program Manager. The candidate will be responsible for production programmatic implementation of key development, improvement, and modernization technology changes. Specific Responsibilities Include:
- Integrate all production aircraft configuration change requests (cost/schedule/technical)
- Serve as F-35 production program office change board representative
- Develop, coordinate, & brief production change metrics
- Provide briefings to customers and program management senior leadership
- Work with multiple functions to identify gaps, risks, issues, and opportunities; develop mitigation and capture plans
- Monitor execution of all authorized tasks, identify and resolve performance issues, and ensure the completion of contract requirements
- Work on complex technical and programmatic issues and produce solutions that are both innovative and cost effective
- Support multiple senior program managers in the production program office, coordinating changes, identify funding sources, and assist with strategic change break-in strategies
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree or higher
- Experience in Program or Project Management
- Experience working with Earned Value Management Systems
- Experience leading cross functional teams
- Experience delivering presentations to leadership
Desired Skills:
- Knowledgeable of F-35 engineering or production operations processes
- Experience with technical change: roadmaps, insertion, or transition strategies
- Solid understanding of earned value management / control-account-management
- Ability to perform Engineering Change Impact Evaluation
- Capture (proposals, estimate/negotiations, plans, statements of work)
- Experience managing coordination among complex stakeholder sets
- Continuous improvement, risk, and opportunity management
- Experience coordinating, compiling, and briefing data metrics
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong problem solving skills in the application of subcontracts and contract execution
- Systems engineering and requirements development experience

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
