For over 60 years, the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) team has supported the Navy's mission to provide affordable and credible strategic defense! As a Project Engineer Aide, you will:
• Collect and analyze data to drive program decisions
• Support preparation and delivery of program materials, meetings, and reviews in support of multiple missile defense programs
• Maintain databases, user profiles, and data transfers of various platforms (Microsoft SharePoint, network drive, tool accesses, etc) to support program needs
• Support data analysis, collection, and other strategies that optimize efficiency and quality
• Communicate well with a team of employees, program managers, and external stakeholders
Basic Qualifications:
• Associates degree in related discipline or equivalent experience, and/or technical training. Coursework completed towards a related a degree may be considered.
• Basic understanding of STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) principles as well as the ability to interpret, generate, and present technical material and problem solve
• Demonstrated organizational skills with attention to detail to create high-quality work products
• Ability to work in a fast paced, high work volume, highly technical, small team environment
• Ability to tackle detailed technical assignments often requiring learning or developing planning and integration skills
• Desire to continually learn, ambition to proactively address challenges, and aspiration to work in a team with dynamic strengths and environment
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance
Desired Skills:
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to adjust to a variety of audiences
• Good presentation skills; must be able to present clearly and concisely on a weekly basis to management and customers
• Able to work independently within a team and handle multiple priorities and internal customers
• Microsoft Office skills in PowerPoint, Excel and Word
• Active Secret security clearance or higher
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
