Description
We are currently seeking a Cyber Exercise Support Planner to join our team at Ft Meade, MD.
This position will:
- Support up to ten exercises per year
- Manage the Master Scenario Event Log (MSEL) for internal and external events
- Collaborate with J-DIRs to develop scenarios and injects to meet identified training objectives for JTIMS submission
- Provide technical research, analysis, and recommendation for JFHQ-DODIN and external events through research, analysis and recommendations to conceive, develop, execute, and support joint Event Lifecycle Events including CCMD exercises, cyber experiments, risk analysis, technology demonstrations, and scenario development/bi-lateral exercises, tabletop exercises, and scenario development/synchronization events
- Coordinate with other directorates to provide inputs and resources for Command exercises
- Identify, track, and resolve issues impacting training, rehearsal of concept (ROC) drills/exercises, and daily operations
- Participate in the annual Training Objective workshop to link command training objectives to external and internal developed events/exercises as part of the Command’s annual assessment plan to support readiness
- Develop internal events to meet command readiness requirements to include planning, organizing, coordinating, and participating in TTXs and other similar events
- Collaborate with the Command elements to establish overall objectives, priorities, and plans for the Command’s joint exercise program, assuring focus on issues, and challenges critical to pursuit of cyberspace operations
Requirements:
- TS/SCI security clearance required
- Bachelor's degree in a related field and 10+ years of relevant experience (additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree)
- Experience with JPP, DRRS, and JTIMS is required
- Possess a comprehensive understanding of the Joint Training System as outlined in Chairman of Joint Chief of Staff Instruction (CJCSI) 3500.01and Chairman of Joint Chief of Staff Manual (CJCSM) 3500.03, how it is maintained through the JTIMS, tracked in JLLIS, and interfaces to support the Joint Readiness process through the Defense Readiness Reporting System (DRRS)
