Help
- You will liaison between the Naval Oceanographic Office (NAVOCEANO) and Commander, Submarine Force Atlantic (COMSUBFOR) or Commander, Submarine Force, U.S. Pacific Fleet (SUBPAC), facilitating critical communication to support submarine operations.
- You will provide expert oceanographic and environmental intelligence support to senior Navy leadership, advising on the impact of ocean conditions on submarine tactics, operations, and weapon systems.
- You will independently identify, plan, and coordinate NAVOCEANO resources to address the unique challenges and opportunities faced by the U.S. Navy's submarine forces worldwide.
- You will develop and implement innovative methods for utilizing oceanographic products and tactics, driving improvements in the efficiency and effectiveness of environmental support to the submarine fleet.
- You will analyze and interpret complex environmental data from diverse sources to create tailored products, maps, and reports that support anti-submarine warfare (ASW), fleet operations, and national defense initiatives.
- You will represent NAVOCEANO at high-level meetings and conferences, engaging with Flag officers, Senior Executive Service (SES) personnel, and other DoD/Federal leaders to advance the command's mission and strategic goals.

- Experience advising senior leadership on strategies to support submarine forces by providing environmental intelligence, tactical oceanographic support, and Undersea Warfare expertise.
- Experience independently identifying, planning, and coordinating resources within NAVOCEANO and other Naval Oceanography commands in support of submarine force missions.
- Experience developing and implementing innovative methods for the efficient use of oceanographic products and tactics to enhance submarine operations.
- Experience preparing and presenting technical results or describing technical processes in both oral and written form, including high-level briefing material for senior leadership.
