Koniag Professional Services, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Senior Consultant Customer Service Support (PART-TIME) to support KPS and our government customer in Washington, DC. This position requires the candidate to be able to obtain a Public Trust. This position is for a Future New Business Opportunity.

The Senior Consultant will play a crucial role in driving successful outcomes and creating value for our clients.

Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:
The Senior Consultant will serve as a subject matter expert, providing high-level expertise and strategic guidance to clients. Principal responsibilities include:
  • Lead complex consulting engagements and provide expert-level guidance to clients
  • Develop and implement strategic solutions to address complex business challenges
  • Conduct detailed assessments and analyses of client systems and processes
  • Create and present comprehensive technical and business recommendations
  • Direct project teams and ensure delivery of high-quality deliverables
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation
  • Develop technical documentation and project artifacts
  • Provide high-level subject matter expertise with advanced knowledge of specialized tasks
  • Offer advice and consultation on problems requiring extensive subject matter knowledge
  • Execute program planning, audits, and evaluations to facilitate effective decision-making and accountability
  • Deliver consulting services in management and strategy development
  • Assist in the development of policies and regulations
  • Prepare analytical reports, studies, scenarios, and documentation pertinent to mission-oriented business programs or initiatives
  • Manage client relationships and expectations throughout project lifecycles
  • Mentor and guide junior consultants and team members
  • Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with existing clients
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integrated solution delivery
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant standards, regulations, and requirements

Requirements:
  • Proven ability to provide high-level subject matter expertise, offering advanced knowledge of specialized tasks
  • Experience providing advice and consultation on problems that require extensive subject matter knowledge
  • Proficiency in program planning, audits, and evaluations
  • Experience in consulting for management and strategy development
  • Background in assisting with the development of policies and regulations
  • Skill in preparing analytical reports, studies, scenarios, and documentation pertinent to mission-oriented business programs or initiatives
  • Strong project management skills and experience with project management software
  • Expertise in data analysis and reporting
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to lead teams and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Effective presentation and facilitation skills
  • Customer service orientation with a focus on delivering value
  • Adaptability to changing priorities and requirements
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance

Education:
  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Management, Information Technology, or related field with at least 3 years of relevant experience (Educational qualifications may be used in lieu of experience)

Desired Skills and Competencies:
  • Experience with Federal Head Start programs or early childhood education initiatives
  • Knowledge of Federal disaster recovery grant processes and compliance requirements
  • Experience with Head Start monitoring systems and federal review processes
  • Prior consulting experience with Health and Human Services (HHS) projects
  • Proven track record of stakeholder engagement at executive levels
  • Background in developing training materials and facilitating workshops
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Proficiency in data analytics and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
  • Experience with quality management systems and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Knowledge of federal procurement processes and contract management
  • Experience with change management methodologies
  • Background in organizational development or transformation
  • Experience with strategic planning and implementation
  • Knowledge of risk management frameworks and practices
  • Experience with multiple consulting methodologies and frameworks

Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Related experience refers to professional experience managing complex engineering or technical efforts of a similar size, scope, and complexity to the projects
