Salary range
$185,000.00 - $291,500.00 / annually.For specific work locations within San Jose, the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, the base pay range for this role is $222,500.00- $333,500.00/ annually

What you'll do
Work with the entire business development and sales team in analyzing current market conditions, forecasting future market characteristics, and developing strategic plans to grow smartly and efficiently.
The day-to-day
- Manage the execution of business development initiatives
- Create, Execute and Maintain a strategic business development plan
- Tracks emerging markets and trends
- Research and identify new business opportunities
- Build relationships with customers, suppliers, distributors, partners, and vendors in support of business development
- Proposes, develops and manages strategic partnerships
- Expands the profile and reach of the company and its brands
- Develops and strengthens internal and external relationships that will lead to increased lead generation and market share.
- Identifies and recommends new products and services
- Helps to shape the company's long-term objectives and determine plans for how to meet them
- Provides advice on product development and distribution and promotion strategies.
- Conducts webinars and presentations to raise the brand and product profiles.
- Fulfills requests for information (RFIs) and requests for proposals (RFPs) from potential partners and customers
- Meet regularly with other team members to discuss progress and find new ways to improve the business
- Compile and analyze data to identify trends
What you'll need
- 15+ years Sales, Marketing, or Business Development Experience
- Prior Leadership Experience in High Assurance and/or Cybersecurity related business
- Ability to multitask and deliver on several responsibilities simultaneously
- Strong written and verbal (presentations/briefings) communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proven problem solver with an aptitude and appetite for analytics, but can go beyond the numbers to articulate insights and operationalize them
- Proficiency with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce) and an aptitude for learning new systems
- Master's degree in business or equivalent business-related experience
- US Government position. US Citizenship required
- Active DoD Secret Clearance
- Ability to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally
What will help you on the job
- Active DoD Top Secret Clearance
- 20+ years professional experience in a business development and/or business leadership role targeted at the US Government
- Experience in using or selling high assurance security equipment or related services
- Professional certification in related field (i.e. CISSP)
