Position: Mid-Level or Senior System Engineer – ICS Software Development and Acquisition
International Systems Management Corp. (ISM) is seeking qualified candidates for Software Development and Acquisition support to the US Navy. The selected individual will provide subject matter expertise in the areas of Software Development and Acquisition in support of the Implementation of the Integrated Combat System Continuous Development / Continuous Delivery Process. The position will focus on ensuring Software Development processes support Software Acquisition Pathway requirements and track ICS re-architecture and capability development progress. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively interact with multiple stakeholders and customers.
Educations / Professional Work Experience Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree with 5 Years’ experience or 8+ Years Support Supporting Navy Programs
Required responsibilities include:
• Manage development and ensure timely submission of the Software Acquisition Pathway requirements, data calls, and briefings. This includes but is not limited to cost estimates, value assessments, and deployment metrics
• Develop documents required for the Software Acquisition Pathway to include but not limited to annual Requirements Definition Package (RDP), User Agreement and Cost Analysis Requirements Description (CARD)
• Develop and maintain ICS re-architecture and capability development schedules, build plans and fielding plans. Coordinate across stakeholders to ensure updates are accurate and consistent.
• Track SBIRs and FNCs for transition to the ICS
• Develop executive level presentations
• Support task planning, budget exhibit updates, POM cycle efforts
• Coordinate across IWS X team to ensure alignment of HW and SW requirements to support Combat System deliveries
• Advise on requirements, contract strategy, and process improvements
Desired experience includes:
• Experience in Navy Combat System Systems Engineering Program Execution
• Experience supporting Senior Level Leadership
• Experience supporting all aspects of System Engineering Process
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to Travel as required to support Program Requirements
• Able to obtain a Secret Clearance
The position will be located in Washington, DC and require travel less than 20% of the time. Applicant must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance.
