We are looking for a Senior Network Engineer to support a F500 client in the Cambridge, MA area.
Location: Cambridge, MA (Hybrid)
Pay Rate: ($75- $80/hr. W2)
This is a contract-to-hire opportunity. Applicants must be willing and able to work on a W2 basis and convert to FTE following contract duration. Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the Cisco ISE environment.
- Lead the transition from IPV4 to IPV6.
- Design, implement, and manage complex network services.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues.
- Provide direct support for network operational issues to other departments.
- Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade network infrastructure.
- Collaborate with application owners and IT stakeholders to support a scalable, efficient, and stable network.
- Research, plan, design, and implement network technologies using industry best practices.
- Assist in developing network policies, procedures, and change management.
- Work with the virtualization group to ensure interoperability between physical and virtual environments.

- Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE)
- IPV4 to IPV6 transitioning
- Palo Alto firewall
- Cisco Firepower VPN
- Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI)
- Cisco Digital Network Architecture (DNAC)
- IPV6, DHCP, DNS, VPN, MPLS, MTIPS
- Border Gateway Protocol (BGP), routing, switching
- Out-of-Band (OOB) networks
- Cloud infrastructure and firewall management
- CISCO CCIE certification
- Participate in Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity planning and execution.
Experience Requirements:
Experience:
- Must have a minimum of 10 years of related experience as a subject matter expert in architecting complex networks. Must have experience with Cisco, DHCP, DNS, VPN, MPLS, MTIPS, Border Gateway Protocol (BGP), routing, switching, and Out-of-Band (OOB) networks, cloud infrastructure, and firewall management. Must have IPV6 transition experience. Must be an expert in routing and switching. Must possess CCIE a certification.
