Role Description:
The IT Systems Technician will be responsible for the installation, configuration, servicing, repair, and maintenance of IT systems in both stand-alone and client-server environments. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing hardware and software for network services, storage networking devices, and servers.
- Integrating multiple Information Systems (IS) in a networked environment.
- Evaluating and resolving customer IS problems.
- Performing necessary hardware upgrades and repairs to maintain mission capability.
- Installing and configuring wireless hubs, routers, switches, and various transmission media.
- Ensuring proper installation and configuration of workstation hardware and software for efficient network operation.
- Installing, optimizing, and troubleshooting Local Area Networks (LAN) and Base Area Networks (BAN).
- Working with technologies such as IPv6, EIGRP, BGP, VLANs, VPNs, and NAT.

- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field.
Certifications Required:
Candidates must possess one or more of the following certifications:
- CompTIA A+
- CompTIA Network+
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
- Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA)
- Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA)
Education Requirements:

- Must possess a Secret Clearance.
