Koniag IT Systems, LLC (KITS), a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking an experienced A/V Engineer with a Secret Clearance to support KITS and our government customer in Huntsville, AL. This position is onsite with the customer.

Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Responsible for the design, installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and support of all audio/visual (A/V) systems within AMC facilities, including conference rooms, training centers, event spaces, and executive offices.
- Ensure system reliability, security, and alignment with organizational needs.
- Duties include designing and implementing A/V solutions; installing, configuring, and testing equipment; performing preventative maintenance and upgrades; managing A/V control system programming; ensuring compliance with security standards and DoD cybersecurity policies; creating and maintaining system documentation; collaborating with IT and facilities; and providing end-user training and support.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of A/V principles, technologies, and industry standards. Proficiency in A/V control system programming (Crestron, Extron, AMX - specify preferred systems).
- Experience with video conferencing systems (Cisco, Polycom, Zoom, etc.). Understanding of audio engineering principles. Knowledge of networking protocols and A/V over IP.
- Familiarity with digital signage systems. Strong troubleshooting and problem- solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to read technical drawings.
- 5+ years of experience as an A/V Engineer or similar role. Experience with large- scale A/V installations. Experience working in a DoD or government environment is a plus.
- AVIXA Certified Technology Specialist (CTS). Crestron Certified Programmer (or equivalent for other control systems). Manufacturer-specific certifications (e.g.,
- Cisco, Extron) are desirable.
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, matrixed team environment, with a client-centric culture, and an environment of high performers.
- Must be able to multi-task and shift priorities as needed.
- Must be able to work effectively with numerous stakeholder types and bring a group to consensus
