Koniag IT Systems, LLC (KITS), a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking an experienced System Administrator with a Secret Clearance to support KITS and our government customer in Huntsville, AL. This position is onsite with the customer.

Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and security of AMC's system, application, server, network, and desktop infrastructure.
- Ensure system uptime, performance, and data integrity.
- Managing user accounts and access permissions; monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues; applying security patches and updates; performing backups and restores; automating routine tasks; documenting system configurations; and collaborating with other IT teams to support business operations.
- Responsibilities extend to both on-premises and cloud environments.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows Server, Linux).
- Proficiency in Active Directory, Group Policy, and other directory services.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Understanding of networking protocols and security principles.
- Experience with scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, Bash).
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- 3+ years of experience as a System Administrator or similar role. Experience managing a diverse range of systems and applications. Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent security certification. Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or similar cloud certification is desirable. Relevant certifications in operating systems and virtualization technologies are a plus.
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, matrixed team environment, with a client-centric culture, and an environment of high performers.
- Must be able to multi-task and shift priorities as needed.
- Must be able to work effectively with numerous stakeholder types and bring a group to consensus
