Position Title: Mid-Level IT Project Estimator
Location: Schriever Space Force Base, Colorado Springs, CO

Description of Duties:
The Mid-Level IT Project Estimator supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. The candidate will:
• Support a portfolio of highly complex Implementation Cost Estimate Proposal (ICEPs) and proposals from development to award
• Facilitate internal ICEP and proposal meetings supporting the applicable technical teams in ICEP and proposal development with the end state of delivering quality, on time documents
• Assist the IRES Contracting Team with the creation and preparation of ICEPs and proposal documents
• Assist in the preparation of ICEPs and proposal documents by collaborating with the Project Management Office, Customer Relationship Managers, numerous technical teams, IRES Contracting Team and Government Stakeholders (includes proposing schedule, labor, subcontractor labor, travel, shipping, etc)
• Monitor the STRIDE 1.0 system for real-time proposal notifications
• Manage multiple ICEP and proposal developments to ensure on time delivery
• Exhibit ownership of ICEP and proposal deliverables by collaborating with multiple IRES teams and Government Stakeholders to deliver quality documents driven by Government Stakeholders' requirements
The successful candidate will:
• Have strong math skills and above average computer skills.
• Have critical thinking skills with ability to problem solve and make effective decisions.
• Have above average written and verbal communication skills

Basic Requirements:
• Must have 4 years of directly related experience
• Must have experience collaborating with technical teams, Sr Management and Clients
• Must be detail oriented, organized and have time management skills
• Must be able to work independently on assignments
• Must be proficient in MS Office with a focus on Word, Excel, Outlook, and Project.
• Must be familiar with IT terminology
• Must have an active DoD Secret clearance
Desired Requirements:
• Have IT-related proposal development experience
• Have a PMP certification
• Have experience with Earned Value Management contracts
• Have experience facilitating high dollar-value proposal developments ranging in complexity
• Have experience in traditional waterfall and/or agile proposal development
This position is expected to pay $116,000 - $125,000 annually; depending on experience, education, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.
