Amentum is seeking an Entry-Level Engineer to join our team in Norfolk, VA. The selected candidate will perform a variety of engineering assignments in support of Naval Station Norfolk's Mid Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center (MARMC) Code 286 with test, installation, operation, and maintenance of electric/electronic equipment and systems.

Essential Responsibilities:
- Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting with the installation, modification, repair, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting and repair of sonar systems and subsystems. Systems include:
- AN/SQR-19 and MFTA Towed Array Systems
- AN/SQQ-28 Sonobuoy Receiving Systems and AN/SQQ-89
- On-Board Training (OBT) systems and subsystems
- Provide technical support for urgent mission degrading CASREPs or other system and component problems
- Provide technical support for assessments and inspections such as TMIs, TSRAs, INSURVs, and Assist Ship's Force with obtaining supply and repair parts information as required
- Assist with technical research and resolution recommendations
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical Engineering
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, TAAS, and other programs necessary for report filing
- Good communication and analytical skills; working knowledge of computer systems and integrated software application programs
- Position may require travel
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret US government clearance. Note: US citizenship is required to obtain a secret clearance.
