Product Review Engineer - Liaison Engineering

Location: Mascutah, Illinois

Salary Range: $75-80/hr (Competitive and commensurate with experience)

Introduction

We are seeking a motivated and skilled individual to join our team as a Product Review Engineer - Liaison Engineering. This role involves applying broad knowledge of design and engineering principles to assess and resolve product and process issues throughout the product lifecycle. The successful candidate will lead research into technical, operational, and quality issues, providing innovative solutions and improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Applicants must be able to obtain "Security Clearance" post the start and be able to work directly for Artech on W2
• MRB certification
• Experience in conducting root cause analysis and developing dispositions for design non-conformances.
• Previous experience with aerospace MRB/Liaison.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in conducting root cause analysis and developing dispositions for design non-conformances
• Familiarity with developing and implementing technical training curriculum
• Experience in leading on-site repair teams and accident investigation support

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Analyze and resolve product/process issues through the product lifecycle
• Lead research into technical, operational, and quality issues, designing interim and final engineering solutions
• Develop and implement product/process improvements using innovative approaches
• Analyze reported problems for potential safety issues and manage complex resolutions
• Represent the engineering community in the build through post-production environment
• Ensure supplier and build partner compliance with standards
• Develop customer correspondence for continued safe operation and maintenance of equipment

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
