Position Title: Automation & Integration Lead
Status: Permanent/Full-Time

Scope of Work: This support will be primarily for the Data Center and Cloud Hosting Services (DC2HS) Division, but in addition to supporting the DC2HS Division, the contractor shall support the Program Executive Office for Digital and Enterprise Services (PEO Digital), PEO for Manpower, Logistics, and Business Solutions (PEO MLB), Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA), Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), Navy Reserves, and other Department of Navy (DON) Business and Enterprise Systems, Department of Defense (DoD) and Federal organizations. The DC2HS division provides engineering, logistics, and PM support solutions for Manpower, Logistics, and Business challenges; provides automation through development and deployment of modern software-intensive solutions; includes hosting for software application and services including private and commercial Cloud services; and installs and sustain Enterprise Logistics and Maintenance Solutions for the Fleet.
The DC2HS Service Delivery IPT is looking for an Engineer to conduct research, make recommendations, champion solutions, and lead technical teams or engineers to successfully implement innovative solutions with an emphasis on automation and integration that solve significant, high-demand and complex challenges across enterprises and customers. The successful candidate must possess deep technical knowledge across multiple interrelated disciplines evidenced by significant improvements to critical business-value activities that illustrate highly complex and deeply technical expertise. Additionally, the Engineer must effectively employ the five C’s: communication, collaboration, core competencies, and character.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Research and recommend systems, equipment, and technologies through the collection and analysis of data.
• Transform data into meaningful, actionable information including designs, plans, architectures, and solutions.
• Successfully deconstruct highly complex technical information into constituent and understandable elements.
• Effectively communicate deconstructed elements to diverse audiences including executive leadership and all managerial levels, technical audiences of all levels, and non-technical persons.
• Lead diverse personnel with varying technical expertise across different teams and projects.
• Communicate high-level strategies and solutions to engineering teams and personnel.
• Communicate with stakeholders of varying technical expertise to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Review projects, proposals, designs, and architectures across teams to create new theories and strategies.
• Clearly document technology plans and implementations to facilitate the efficient support of enterprise environments, enclaves, and solutions.
• Provide aftercare to clients and disparate teams, such as integration support for previously installed software and program
• Develop systems and project design and architecture solutions of high quality and reliability.
• Perform software development, installation, configuration, integration, and documentation.
• Successfully integrate technologies, platforms, and tools to generate additional value and solve critical business problems.
• Champion doing things better, faster, easier, cheaper, and simpler through advanced innovations including automation and integration across enterprise technologies, tools, and architectures.
• Analyze existing operations and make recommendations to improve relevant CS/IS/IT solutions.
• Communicate with vendors and service providers to gain a clear understanding of product or service capabilities and costs.
• Collaborate with service providers, vendors, and internal personnel on root cause analysis.
• Communicate in written and verbal forms to all levels of the organization.
• Maintain technology awareness about industry tools, capabilities, and innovations.
• Perform Analysis of Alternatives (AoAs) to help the government determine the best available solution to meet its requirements.
Requirements/Experience:
Education: Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in quantitative field such as engineering or mathematics (e.g. Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Information Systems)
Required Certifications:
• IAT-III DOD 8570/8140 compliance
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional
• One hands-on experiential cyber certification:
• C|EH (Practical); OR,
• Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP)
• 2+ progressive Microsoft Windows and/or Linux OS certification(s)
• 3+ progressive AWS or Azure certifications
• Certified Scrum Developer (or higher)
Required Skills:
