Title: Cloud Solutions Architect
Client: FBI
Location: Winchester, VA (Hybrid- 2-3 days onsite)
Clearance: Active Top Secret/SCI
The Cloud Solutions Architect shall have demonstrated experience designing and implementing scalable microservices, leading development teams, ensuring security measures are in place within the microservices’ design, conducting meetings and presentations with Government stakeholders and leadership. The Pinnacle Architect shall have experience with programming (C#, Java, and Python), containerization for managing the deployment of microservices (Kubernetes and Docker), Cloud development (AWS), and a robust understanding of microservices development and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as the lead architect for designing and implementing microservices in a secure and scalable manner.
• Guide and lead development teams in adopting best practices for microservices and cloud-based software engineering.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, present architectural solutions, and provide technical direction.
• Ensure security measures are embedded in the architecture and aligned with federal compliance standards.
• Conduct briefings, design reviews, and technical presentations for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Utilize containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) to deploy and manage services.
• Architect and implement solutions within Amazon Web Services (AWS) environments, following DevSecOps principles.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Demonstrated experience in architecting and deploying scalable microservices in enterprise or government environments.
• Proficient in modern programming languages such as C#, Java, and Python.
• Strong experience with containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Expertise in cloud development, particularly within the AWS ecosystem.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with Government leadership, developers, and cross-functional teams.
• Experience conducting architecture reviews and technical presentations.
Preferred Qualifications:
• AWS Certification (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect – Professional).
• Experience working in or with federal agencies, particularly in law enforcement or intelligence.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
• Familiarity with service meshes (e.g., Istio) and API gateways.
