Responsibilities:
- Develops and integrates IT asset management processes to support operations across DAO SOUTHCOM
- Maintains oversight of IT-enabling services, including training, communication transport, land mobile radio, SATCOM, logistics , warehouse operations, and personnel security
- Coordinates communication transport services for wireless, cellular, satellite, and long-haul operations, aligning with U.S. DoS communication transport requirements
- Manages mission-critical SATCOM mobile radios, base stations, repeaters, and transmission platforms, ensuring optimal performance and reliability
- Supports cable plant services, including fiber, copper, low voltage, direct burial, aerial, and conduit infrastructure, to maintain enterprise communication capabilities
- Executes warehouse operations for IT equipment, including shipping, receiving, disposal, and storage, in compliance with local and U.S. DoS-certified warehouse requirements for CONUS and OCONUS locations
- Oversees vehicle operations services for IT and ancillary equipment logistics , ensuring licensed personnel transport assets between Government warehouses and operational locations
- Develops and maintains security compliance measures for physical IT assets, security logs, and USSOUTHCOM policies
- Aligns IT asset management with enterprise configuration management and programmatic processes to optimize resource utilization and maintain mission readiness
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor 's degree in Business Administration , Information Technology, Supply Chain or related field
- 10+ years of experience in IT asset management or logistics in a DoD or federal contracting environment
- Proficiency with asset management system such as Service Now
- Knowledge of ITIL asset and configuration management processes
- Familiarity with FAR/DFARS, DoD 5000, or other federal property accountability regulations
- Strong attention to detail, documentation skills, and audit readiness capabilities
Desired:
- Master's degree in related field
- Experience managing asset in virtual/cloud environments
- Knowledge of ISO 19770, NIST SP 1800, or related standards
- Familiarity with WASP inventory control systems
- Experience supporting D efense Contract Management Agency, D efense C ontract A udit A gency , or customer led asset reviews
- Certified Hardware Asset Management Professional or equivalent
- ITIL v4 Foundation Certification
Clearance:
- TS/SCI clearance required
Certification:
- DoD 8570 Baseline & CE certifications are required for all positions and may vary slightly depending on the skillset required to perform the role
- CompTIA Security+ CE
