This position is part of our Federal Solutions team.

Salary Range: $72,900.00 - $127,600.00

Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Logistician to join our team!
What You'll Be Doing:
- Gathers and analyzes data on product plans and project objectives. Provides tracking, status reports, and logistics plans to support and ensure distribution and delivery commitments for manufacturing or servicing of products, equipment, and systems.
- Develops policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure quality and cost control.
- Conducts distribution and network studies, monitors, inventory, and analyzes requirements in order to develop strategies to achieve or improve desired results.
- Manages program and project implementation and makes significant contributions to department goals and planning efforts.
- Contacts suppliers to ensure equipment and materials are delivered to job sites in support of construction schedules.
- Follows up on assigned purchase orders to ensure adherence to terms and conditions.
- Initiates action, as required, to resolve any supplier problems which might adversely affect project requirements and construction schedules.
- Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's Degree and 5 years directly related experience or at least 9 years of directly related logistics experience.
- Must have at least three years experience working in Air Force Sustainment projects.
- Must have experience with Integrated Maintenance Management Systems.(IMMS)
- Procurement experience with a major engineering and construction firm or industrial supplier
- Working knowledge of vendor data control, expediting, and other purchasing activities is required
Physical requirement and working conditions:
- Full-time 40 hours a week
- Travel: Position may require limited travel (i.e.,
- Physical requirements can include walking, climbing, crawling through small spaces, and standing or sitting for long periods of time.
- Must meet most stringent country medical clearance requirements. Position requires adherence to approved vaccination protocols as determined by location.
