Overview:
The Client's CIO Architecture, Strategy & Innovation (CASI) division is responsible for supporting the Vice President of Information Technology in shaping the enterprise IT vision and translating strategic initiatives into executable architectural roadmaps. The team plays a critical role in driving agility, resilience, and modernization in alignment with the Client's long-term transformation strategy.
To support this mission, CASI seeks experienced Solutions Architects to contribute to the development of enterprise-level architectural assessments that guide the Client through new application development and modernization initiatives. These roles are critical in supporting business and technology stakeholders across various domains.

The team plays a critical role in driving agility, resilience, and modernization in alignment with the Client's long-term transformation strategy.
To support this mission, CASI seeks experienced Solutions Architects to contribute to the development of enterprise-level architectural assessments that guide the Client through new application development and modernization initiatives. These roles are critical in supporting business and technology stakeholders across various domains.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research, analyze, and evaluate existing and proposed business systems and procedures.
- Develop comprehensive architecture assessments that include:
- Current and future state journey maps
- Data flows and integration points
- Technology stack recommendations
- KPI-driven implementation plans
- Cost analysis of proposed solutions
- Gather and validate requirements through stakeholder engagement.
- Produce clear and concise documentation using Client templates (MS Word) and visual aids (Visio, Draw.io, PowerPoint).
- Prepare and present findings and briefings to Client leadership and Architecture Review Board (ARB).
- Support technical planning, requirements analysis, and architectural decision-making processes across Client portfolios.
- Ensure all deliverables adhere to Government security requirements, Section 508, enterprise architecture standards, and regulatory constraints such as PCI and SOX compliance.
- Proven work experience (not just training) in the following areas:
- Enterprise business and system analysis
- Solution architecture design and documentation
- Application of cloud services from AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Integration with on-premise technologies (e.g., Microsoft, Oracle, SAP, Linux)
- Technical illustration using Draw.io, Visio, and PowerPoint
- Strong oral and written communication skills; able to develop executive-level briefings and technical documentation.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
- Experience designing performant, scalable cloud-based business applications or infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure scripting or automation tools (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation, Puppet, Chef).
- Practical experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or agent-based AI solutions.
- Prior experience working with or within the Client's systems, including architecture assessment processes.
- Familiarity with the Client's business processes and regulatory requirements.
- Graphic design experience for technical presentations is a strong plus.
- Completed architecture assessment documents per Client standards.
- Executive-level PowerPoint briefings and technical illustrations.
- Implementation roadmaps, KPIs, and cost-benefit analyses of proposed architectures.
- Architecture documentation reviewed and approved by the Client's Architecture Review Board (ARB).
- Stakeholder satisfaction and alignment with strategic and technical goals.
