Job Title: Instructional System Designer
Location: NSWC Crane, IN
Overview:
SkyBridge Tactical is seeking a motivated Instructional System Designer that shall support of the Weapon Systems Training Branch of the Naval Surface Warfare Center
(NSWC) Crane Division providing training support for a wide variety of Department of Defense Sponsors to include United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM), Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA), United States Marine Corps (USMC), United States Army, United States Air Force (USAF)
Responsibilities:
The Instructional Systems Designer Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Collaborating on existing training programs and blended learning implementation strategies.
Providing quality assurance and control on design plans and instructional materials.
Creating professional-level presentation materials.
Regularly participating in meetings with project stakeholders.
Performing needs and gap analysis to determine training needs.
Tracking work and schedules to ensure timely completion.
Producing quality results in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
Designing, developing, reviewing, validating, and revising technical training courses and instructional strategies across multiple functional specialties.
Organizing course content according to instructional design plans and ensuring mastery of learning objective.
Required Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree from a regionally-accredited college or university.
5+ year’s instructional development experience.
3+ year’s developing computer-based training.
2+ year’s developing training using Authoring Instructional Materials (AIM).
Authoring Instructional Materials (AIM) is a management system consisting of a set of commercial and Government software used by the United States Navy for the development and design of training curricula and instructional content.
At least five years of experience using Microsoft Office Suite products, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
