Koniag Professional Services LLC, a Koniag Government Service Company, is seeking an On-Site Senior Project Manager to support KPS and our government customer in Washington, DC. This position requires the candidate to be able to obtain a Public Trust. This position is for a Future New Business Opportunity.

The Onsite Project Manager will be responsible for the overall management of the contract and coordination of all support activities at the client site in Washington, DC. Principal responsibilities include:
- Organize, direct, and coordinate planning and production of all contract support activities
- Ensure performance of all contract requirements and conformity with contract terms and conditions
- Meet regularly with Government management personnel, contractor managers, and other federal stakeholders
- Formulate and review management plans, quality control plans, consulting arrangements, and contract deliverables
- Ensure coordination between personnel and central management functions within the organization and between appropriate Government personnel
- Assign, schedule, and review work of subordinates, taking action and coordinating policies and activities with appropriate Government personnel
- Apply quality assurance measures to the management of the contract
- Develop project plans, define project scopes, coordinate project resources, monitor project progress, and ensure project deliverables are met on time and within budget
- Oversee and manage a team of administrative and technical professionals supporting a federal agency, including project staff, consultants, and administrative staff
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and deliverables with experience in budget management and resource allocation
- Lead and coordinate specialized work efforts to deliver unique and customized solutions
- Oversee the creation of reports, correspondence, and presentations for the Senior Management Team
- Approve travel arrangements for team members as needed
- Manage quality assurance and quality control measures for all deliverables and services
- Oversee the implementation of data analysis and reporting processes that inform and improve the quality, responsiveness, and effectiveness in supporting a federal agency
- Serve as the primary onsite point of contact for the client
- Identify and mitigate potential risks to contract performance
- Represent Koniag Professional Services in client meetings and presentations
- Provide regular updates to company leadership on contract status and performance
Requirements:
- Corporate experience in managing and administering work as described in the scope of work
- Capacity to provide sufficient experienced, qualified staff with the proven ability to perform the tasks described in the scope of work
- Capability to assign staff needed to meet unforeseen, urgent assignments
- Experience in computer software applications (Windows 2010, Excel, PowerPoint, ACCESS, SharePoint), and other Government/Federal systems
- Strong project management skills and experience with project management software, data analysis, and reporting
- Effective leadership and team management abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Budget management and resource allocation expertise
- Contract management and compliance experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with federal contracting requirements and procedures
- Quality assurance and quality control management skills
- Ability to develop and maintain client relationships
- Experience supervising and mentoring staff
- Strong decision-making skills and ability to work independently
- Adaptability to change priorities and requirements
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
Desired Skills and Competencies:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Knowledge and experience related to Program and Grants Management task activities
- Advanced degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field
- Experience working with federal agencies, particularly in early childhood education
- Knowledge of federal acquisition regulations
- Experience with performance-based contracting
- Background in customer service operations and improvement
- Experience with change management methodologies
- Strategic planning and implementation experience
- Knowledge of quality management systems
- Experience with data visualization and reporting tools
- Background in process improvement methodologies
- Experience with stakeholder engagement at executive levels
- Previous experience in an onsite contractor role with federal clients
Education:
- Bachelor's degree with 8 years of relevant experience (Educational qualifications may be used in lieu of experience)
Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Relevant experience must include managing client service projects of similar size, scope, and complexity
- Proven knowledge of Head Start and Early Head Start programs or early childhood education
