Intelligence Planner
The Opportunity:
As an intelligence planner on our team, you will play a key role in developing campaign and contingency plans, crisis management options, time-sensitive planning, exercises, and assessments. You will assist with intelligence operations feasibility assessments throughout the planning process, working collaboratively within an intelligence planning team to ensure intelligence equities are thoroughly integrated into strategic and operational-level military plans and orders. Your responsibilities will include documenting intelligence resourcing gaps and shortfalls, developing effective mitigation strategies, and integrating intelligence products and services to support the Joint Planning Process (JPP). You will also synchronize the intelligence cycle, supporting the full spectrum of collection, analysis, production, and targeting activities. In addition to these core duties, you will leverage emerging technology, including tools and platforms such as MAVEN Smart Systems, Compass AI, CamoGPT, and other Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and Data Science capabilities. By integrating advanced technology and AI-enabled solutions, you will help ensure the right information is delivered at the right time to meet the critical needs of our warfighters and nation's leaders. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,500.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. You Have:
- 5+ years of experience in intelligence planning, including the Combatant Command level
- 2+ years of experience at a Combatant Command, National-level Intelligence Agency, or Service Component
- Experience with joint and combined, multi-domain operations planning, campaign and contingency planning, developing and maintaining base plans, annexes, appendices, and tabs
- Experience with National Intelligence Support Plans, the Joint Staff, and Combat Support Agencies
- Knowledge of the Joint Planning Process and its inputs and outputs, including JIPOE, Center of Gravity Analysis, Enemy Courses of Action, and Annex Bs
- Knowledge of IC-standard intelligence and production tools, databases, techniques, and platforms
- Knowledge of Joint, Bilateral, and Multilateral Exercises
- TS/SCI clearance
- Bachelor's degree
- Active passport with at least 6 months validity for the purposes of visa applications
Nice If You Have:
- Experience with the Joint Planning Process (JPP) and military decision-making process
- Experience with foreign or planning and theater campaign strategies
- Experience with organizational leadership
- Experience using Microsoft Office applications, MAVEN Smart Systems, Compass AI, CamoGPT, and other Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and Data Science capabilities
- Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills, including confidently interfacing with leadership
- Master's degree
- DoD Intelligence Planning Course graduate
- Joint Intelligence Planner Certification
- Completion of Joint Professional Military Education, Phase I or II
- Completion of Advanced Intermediate Level Education, including SAW, SAMS, SAASS, MAWS, JAWS, or BSAP
