Fall Internship Program

Overview:

Aegis Aerospace is currently seeking Fall Engineering Interns to join our Houston-based team. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the aerospace and defense industry while working alongside seasoned professionals on impactful engineering projects.

Internship Focus Areas:

• Aerospace Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering
• Electrical Engineering
• Systems Engineering
• Other related engineering disciplines

Responsibilities:

• Support assigned engineering teams with technical tasks and ongoing projects.
• Conduct research and analysis on aerospace systems and technologies.
• Assist in testing, modeling, documentation, or design work, depending on assignment.
• Collaborate with engineers to brainstorm and develop innovative solutions.
• Participate in team meetings and present findings or progress when applicable.
• Perform other duties as assigned by your mentor or team lead.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in Engineering (Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).
• Junior or Senior standing preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to manage time effectively and work both independently and on a team.
• Proficiency with engineering tools and software is a plus (e.g., MATLAB, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.).
