COLSA is seeking candidates for a position in San Diego, CA to support defense systems testing and data analysis with a focus on tactical data links and military communications systems. This position will assist with system setup, test execution, and post-test analysis using tools such as the Data Link Gateway.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential functions)
- Perform network analysis using tools such as Etherpeek or Wireshark *
- Assist in routine analysis of systems designs *
- Obtain user information to conduct analysis when problems occur *
- Perform data analysis on post-test data and customer data *
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues
- Assist in the creation of routine systems designs *
- Prepare routine logic flow charts on basic systems *
- May conduct form designs and layouts *
- May perform some basic Cisco administration

Required Experience
- Associate's degree (or higher) in a related field
- US Citizenship required and ability to qualify for security clearance at the SECRET level
- Working knowledge of desktop applications including word processing, spreadsheet, database programs and current Windows operating systems
- Some knowledge of communication protocols - Ethernet, Serial, etc.
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical military experience (e.g., comms or systems technician roles)
- Data Link Gateway experience
- Knowledge of Link 16
- Understanding of IP Address schemes, and Ethernet packets
- Security+ or similar certifications
