The salary range for this role is $70,000 - $92,000. This range is a good faith estimate that reflects various experience levels. The job duties of the Site Asset Staff are as follows:
- Track the removal and addition of equipment to the customer network and report updates to the procurement team for maintenance equipment list adjustments.
- Develop and maintain the logistics team's processes and procedures.
- Assist in the development, monitoring, and tracking of the logistics team's training plans.
- Monitor and report on the fulfillment of requirements for various customer reporting systems, including Confluence, SharePoint, and HelpNow.
- Assist logistics leads in the management of worldwide logistics operations.
- Provide support for all customer supply chain management review (SCMR) audits.
- Participate and provide inputs into process improvement initiatives to enhance logistics efficiency.
- Drive company-owned trucks to deliver and pick up from customer / Vendor sites as needed, possibly daily or up to 50% of the time.
- Backfill warehouse driver position on short notice or to support a large volume workload.
- As a Custodial Property Officer (CPO), approve equipment transfers for hub and tail sites.
- Assist the contract configuration management team and Tier II technicians with configuration management requirements.
- Collaborate on the development of site inventory plans and report on inventory status.
- Track and oversee the disposal of equipment across the program, ensuring all documentation meets established requirements.
- Manage and report on all Return Material Authorization (RMA) deliveries and turn-ins at sites, ensuring timely updates to maintenance lists.
- Collaborate regularly with site personnel to maintain proper stock levels of consumable property.
- Track, trace, and update the status of shipments as needed.
- Establish and maintain hardware and software maintenance databases and historical document records.
- Drive company-owned trucks, operate lift gates, and deliver equipment to designated destinations across the DC, Maryland, and Virginia areas as required.
- Successfully conduct and complete all assigned training.
- Travel up to 30% of the year to inventory and manage the lifecycle of equipment at remote locations.
Required Skills
- The candidate must have a high school diploma and 3 years of experience.
- Knowledge of automated inventory control systems and proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
- Experience with data entry into SAP/AM and working with IT Service Management (ITSM) tools, SAP asset management, and ServiceNow.
- Strong understanding of IT software and hardware logistics with a minimum of three years of related experience.
- Experience with continuous improvement approaches to managing technology spending and tracking assets within a Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
- Proficiency in ordering, processing, shipping, receiving, packaging, material handling, property accountability, and discharge of excess property.
- Experience with physical inventory management, including proper labeling, tracking, and documentation of IT equipment movement.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineering, finance, and government personnel, as well as with vendors and logistics personnel.
- Familiarity with creating and distributing compliance and trend analysis reports related to current assets and their status.
- Ability to lift up to fifty pounds and carry it for forty feet multiple times per day.
- Valid driver's license with the ability to operate company trucks and lift gate systems for equipment delivery/Pickup within designated areas (DC, MD, and VA).
- Strong communication skills (written and interpersonal) and ability to adapt to shifting priorities.
- Ability to conduct detailed procedures in time-constrained environments and work independently with little supervision.
- Flexibility to travel 30% of the year and work under challenging conditions.
- Active TS/SCI security clearance with a current polygraph is required
