Full-Time Salary Range: $120k - $180k

Position Title : Linux System Administrator
Position Location : Laurel, MD
Description :
- We are seeking a Mid-Level Linux System Administrator to work on a fast-paced team of system administrators providing support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems for critical enterprise applications.
- The selected candidate would manage IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems and provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all the client, server, storage, network devices, Etc.
- Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems.
- Provide support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers. Provide support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process.
- Configure and manage UNIX and Windows operating systems, install and load operating system software, troubleshoot, maintain integrity and configure network components along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.

Qualifications :
- TS/SCI with Polygraph
- A bachelor's degree and ten (10) years of experience as a system administrator on programs of similar scope and complexity is required. In lieu of a bachelor's degree fifteen (15) years of experience required.
- In depth Linux experience.
- Familiarity with PowerShell and Bash scripting languages.
- Experience with system hardening.
- Experience working with ISSOs for system compliance.
- DoD 8570 compliance with Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level I is required.
Desired Experience :
- Familiarity with Big Fix
- Familiarity with Ansible and Terraform
Required Clearance :
- Active TSSCI clearance with Full Scope poly
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $120k - $180k
