Materials Coordinator

Zachary Piper Solutions is supporting a federal program through a government integrator partner and is looking to bring on a Material Coordinator to support logistics and inventory control efforts at a secure facility in Lakewood, CO or Hines, IL. This is a fully onsite and hands-on operational role focused on asset tracking, warehouse support, and materials movement in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities of the Material Coordinator:

• Track incoming and outgoing inventory using designated asset management tools

• Assist with receiving, storing, packing, and shipping materials

• Perform routine audits and resolve any inconsistencies in asset records

• Move equipment and materials between local sites using company-provided vehicles

• Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling tools

• Load and unload shipments, organize stock in storage locations

• Complete basic vehicle inspections before and after use

• Coordinate with on-site teams to maintain a clean, safe, and efficient workspace

Non-negotiable Requirements for the Material Coordinator:

• Ability to obtain U.S. Public Trust

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Minimum 2 years of experience in warehouse, shipping/receiving, or logistics support

• Valid driver's license and clean driving history

• Comfortable with physically active work, including lifting up to 50 lbs and operating machinery

• Basic math skills and ability to maintain organized records

Qualifications for the Material Coordinator:

• Forklift certification (state-recognized)

• Prior experience supporting federal programs or prime contractors

• Familiarity with digital inventory systems or logistics software

Work Environment Notes:

• Requires consistent lifting, standing, and warehouse movement

• Some driving between nearby sites as needed

• Indoor and outdoor work depending on material transfer locations

Compensation for the Material Coordinator:

• $55k-$65k annual salary (dependent on experience) • Cigna Medical, Dental, Vision, Holidays, 401k, PTO and Sick Leave as required by law
