Position Overview:
The Equipment Specialist will support the Program Manager Tactical Communications & Electromagnetic Warfare Systems (PM TCE) by collecting, analyzing, interpreting, and developing specialized equipment-specific and supply chain information. This role is based in Albany, GA and involves lifecycle management, provisioning, inventory tracking, and technical documentation support for PM TCE programs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and deliver Technical Instructions, Provisioning Technical Data (PTD) using LSA 036 format and MICAPS.
* Participate in Provisioning Conferences and assess installation procedures and provisioning publication projects.
* Support development of Supply Chain Management documentation and Warranty Support procedures.
* Participate in Systems Engineering Events and ECP reviews to ensure logistics concerns are addressed.
* Maintain itemized inventory and shipment databases for Government Furnished Property (GFP).
* Maintain a classified database for tracking GCSS-MC Service Requests and calibration schedules.
* Ensure timely calibration of fielded equipment and respond to GCSS-MC SRs within 72 hours.
* Conduct itemized inventory prior to fielding and document any missing components.
* Maintain SIPR email access and security credentials as required by the program.
Required Qualifications:
* U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain the required security clearance.
* 4 years of experience with provisioning, inventory management, and technical documentation.
* Familiarity with MICAPS, TFSMS, and Albany Publication website.
* Knowledge of Supply Chain Management and Warranty Support procedures.
* Ability to maintain classified databases and respond to service requests in a timely manner.
Required Skills:
* Proficiency in logistics systems and databases (e.g., GCSS-MC, TFSMS).
* Strong organizational and documentation skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a secure environment.
* Effective communication and coordination with government and contractor teams.
* Attention to detail and accuracy in inventory and technical data management.
