Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Test Engineer to support the Tactical Communications & Electromagnetic Warfare Systems (PM TCE) Program Management Office (PMO). The Test Engineer will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing test and evaluation (T&E) activities across the PM TCE portfolio. This includes supporting the development of T&E documentation, coordinating with test agencies, and analyzing test data to ensure systems meet operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the development and analysis of T&E documentation including Test and Evaluation Master Plans (TEMPs), test strategies, detailed test plans, procedures, and schedules.
* Coordinate with Government and non-Government test agencies to schedule facilities, materiel, and personnel for testing.
* Provide inputs into the preparation, execution, and closure of Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs).
* Support test events by acting as a safety observer, developing Test Incident Reports (TIRs), and conducting post-test data reduction and analysis.
* Host Technical Review Boards (TRBs) to review TIRs during testing.
* Review, revise, and deliver Test Reports in accordance with USMC Integrated T&E Handbook and PM TCE T&E policy.
* Conduct analysis of test and evaluation artifacts and provide recommendations to improve system performance and compliance.
Required Qualifications:
* U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain the required security clearance.
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
* 5 years of experience in test and evaluation of defense systems or similar technical programs.
* Familiarity with DoD acquisition lifecycle and T&E processes.
* Experience supporting test planning, execution, and reporting in a government or military environment.
Required Skills:
* Strong understanding of T&E documentation and processes including TEMPs and TRRs.
* Ability to analyze test data and prepare comprehensive reports.
* Excellent organizational and communication skills.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration tools such as SharePoint and TEAMS.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
