As a Process Improvement Analyst III, you are responsible for implementing and developing a lean culture across the organization and supporting cross-functional process improvement initiatives that result in improved process efficiency and profitability through the reduction of waste activities.

The ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance), Aviation, and Security (IAS) business area is a leader in ISR and aviation, it is a leading prime manned and unmanned aircraft systems integrator for innovative, high-performance ISR and aviation systems. Its end-to-end Command, Control, Computers, Communications and Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance (C4ISR) capabilities encompass design, integration, test, certification, ground/flight training and complete logistics support. IAS tailors solutions to customer cost, performance, and schedule requirements and designs to consistently exceed expectations - with an unrivaled record of on time and on (or under) budget deliveries.

Responsibilities:
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement and with a focus on quality
  • Assess current processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, quality, supply chain, and program management to gather input and drive process improvements
  • Lead projects aimed at reducing waste, improving quality, and increasing efficiency
  • Perform cost/benefit analysis and use results to prioritize projects
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor the effectiveness of process improvements


Qualifications You Must Have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field of study and typically 6 or more years of work experience
  • Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the Aerospace/Defense industry
  • Excellent facilitation and communication skills, both virtual and in-person
  • Experience leading Kaizen events


Qualifications We Prefer:
  • Experience with A3 Development and Management
  • Experience using Process Problem Solving and root cause analysis
  • Experience with AS9100 and ISO9001

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $94,345.12 - $129,724.54. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors, such as candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.

This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance. U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance for employment. Non-U.S. citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance. The Department of Defense Consolidated Adjudications Facility (DoD CAF), a federal government agency, handles the adjudicative aspects of the security clearance eligibility process for industry applicants. Adjudicative factors which affect the outcome of the eligibility determination include, but are not limited to, allegiance to the U.S., foreign influence, foreign preference, criminal conduct, security violations and illegal drug use.
